Germany: Nothing useful for Bridgestone on Friday

Lewis Hamilton (Vodafone McLaren Mercedes) set the marker on the opening day of running for the German Grand Prix – the Grosser Preis Santander von Deutschland - by using Bridgestone's medium compound Potenza tyre to set the day's fastest lap time at the 4.57 km Hockenheim circuit in Baden-Württenberg, for the tenth round of the 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship.
