Record-breaking Vettel puts Toro Rosso on pole at Monza

Red Bull teams nearly locked out the front two rows of the grid for the Italian Grand Prix, as Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel became Formula One's youngest-ever polesitter in appalling weather conditions at Monza on Saturday. Vettel pipped McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen for P1, ahead of Red Bull's Mark Webber and team mate Sebastien Bourdais. Felipe Massa was sixth for Ferrari, while title rivals Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton will start 14th and 15th after failing to reach Q3.
