Ecclestone's radical medal system a 'no go'?

It appears that Bernie Ecclestone's radical plan to replace the current points system with a medal system will not be introduced in 2009 after all. The governing body is far from enthusiastic on the proposed change. The FIA is also not convinced that the F1 teams are supporting idea of Ecclestone as the F1 supremo claimed yesterday.
