Hamilton shortlisted for BBC's Sport Personality of the Year award

McLaren driver and 2008 F1 Champion, Lewis Hamilton, has been shortlisted as one of the ten candidates for this year's BBC award 'Sports Personality of the Year'. Hamilton's rivals are boxer Joe Calzaghe, tennis player Andy Murray and Olympians, swimmer Rebecca Adlington, cyclists Nicole Cooke, Chris Hoy, Rebecca Romero and Bradley Wiggins, sailor Ben Ainslie and 400m runner Christine Ohuruogu. The winner will be decided by public phone vote on 14 December.
